Loading a Container

The ocean container can be loaded properly to assist protect the products from damage

Your products will be better protected from harm during transit if a container is loaded properly.

The cargo must be safeguarded from shifting during the choppy ocean leg and from rattling and banging if the container is being transported by rail. The "shipper's load, stow, and count" must be done by your provider when loading the container.

According to the phrase "shipper's load, stow, and count," the provider is in charge of loading the container, counting the number of cartons within the container, and secure the cartons.

Neither the carrier nor Beeontrade is responsible for improper container loading.

When loading a container, bear the following recommendations in mind:

  • Boxes should be stacked in a way that evenly distributes pressure, like an interlocking brick pattern.
  • Lighter stuff should be loaded on top and heavier freight at the bottom.
  • Pack cartons tightly to prevent movement.
  • Dunnage can be used to fill in any gaps so that mobility is not restricted by space.

Secure the cargo by utilizing tools like:

  • Load bars
  • Load belts
  • Supporting plywood (wood must comply with IPCC measures)

Confirm which securements for your goods will work best, according to your provider.
