Why are Dimensions Required for Airshipment Quotes?

We will be able to provide correct freight prices based on whether the goods will be loaded onto a passenger plane or a freighter if you supply the measurements

To achieve correct estimated pricing for an air shipment, dimensions must be included in the quote request.

Dimensions consist of:

  • Dimensions of the cargo (length by width by height)
  • Counting the cargo's weight (i.e. cartons)
  • Dimensions are entered in the quote request's Cargo section

It is challenging to determine with accuracy whether the cargo will be transported in a passenger plane or a cargo-only plane without the proper measurements (called "freighters").

Depending on the type of aircraft your cargo is being loaded into, different dimensions are acceptable. The maximum cargo dimensions for each kind of aircraft are listed below.

Width and Length

2.44 x 3.15 meters are the maximum cargo dimensions for regular air freight (96 x 125 in). While longer and broader freight can be transported, it may require specific packing materials.

Larger cargo might need specialized charter services. Beeontrade can give accurate freight costs if the price request includes precise cargo dimensions.
