How Can I Determine the Amazon LTL Charges to a Warehouse?

In Amazon Seller Central, you can calculate an approximate trucking cost that Amazon will charge you

To calculate the cost of using Amazon LTL for final delivery to an Amazon FBA warehouse, simply follow the steps listed below:

  • Go to the Prepare Shipment page after creating your shipment plan in Amazon Seller Central.
  • From the list of shipping services in Section 2, choose LTL and Amazon-Partnered Carrier.
  • Fill out Section 3: Shipment Packing of the form completely, then click Confirm in the bottom right corner.
  • Use the following principles to estimate the pallet information:

Measurements: use 72" (maximum height per Amazon requirements).

Weight (2): Multiply the weight of the load by the number of pallets.

Calculate the approximate number of pallets (3) by multiplying the shipment's volume (in cbm) by 1.5.

The stackable pallets box shouldn't be checked. Amazon might send a truck that can only fit stackable pallets if you check the Stackable Pallets box. All of your pallets won't fit in the truck if they can't stack.

Online calculators that automatically calculate pallets are accessible, however, users should be warned that these tools frequently underestimate pallet details and are not always correct.

  • Use the formulas below to calculate the fees listed under Section 4: Shipping Charges:

Pick any date for the freight ready date (1).

Select any contact from the second contact.

3rd freight class: pick 100

  • Use the commercial worth of your shipment as the declared value (option 4).
  • Then select Calculate. Refuse to pay the fees.

Note that if you choose an Amazon-affiliated carrier like Amazon LTL, Amazon will be the one to charge you for final delivery fees, not Beeontrade.

Please refer to Amazon US/Canada Delivery: Estimating Prices for an estimate of the cost of different final delivery options.
